Texas Soapmakers Association Meetings

The Texas Soapmakers Association holds its official convention each year in June or July. Conventions include:

Speakers. National, regional, and local speakers lecture on topics of special interest to soap and toiletry makers.
Soap supplies vendor area. Local and national suppliers come and bring their wares for perusal and purchase, frequently at a discount.
Door prizes, donated by vendors and fellow soapmakers.
Swap bags (TSA members only). Sign up ahead of time for the swap and take home a bag full of beautiful, fragrant soaps and toiletries. Find out for yourself just what talented company you're keeping!
Strut Your Stuff. Bring your best efforts and show them off! Soaps, toiletries, new fragrances ... it's an opportunity to show your best efforts and see what other TSA members have been up to.
Food. Catered lunches are provided each day.
Demonstrations. See how it's done! Interesting and informative demonstrations are offered throughout the convention.
Soap donation bin. Discontinued or "cosmetically challenged" bars are collected for donation to charities.
